Addressing The Issue

Tackling THE EXCELLENCE AND OPPORTUNITY GAPS
IMPACTING OUR NATION'S YOUNG MEN
The "excellence gap refers to the disparity in the percent of lower-income versus higher-income students who reach advanced levels of academic performance."
The opportunity gap refers directly to the inequality displayed within our systems towards adequate educational resources for all students. We utilize a myriad of research-based method aimed at directly address and eliminating the gaps that our educational system may leave behind post-graduation for our low-income but determined young men.
HELPING YOUNG MEN Navigate society’s pitfalls in order to DISCOVER THEIR DREAMS & PASSIONS EARLY
Society is filled with so many resources and tools that can instantly change the lives of so many people. Unfortunately, someone's life cannot be changed if you do not know that those resources even exist or lack access to them. We believe early exposure to numerous fields of study and industries give young men the chance to DREAM BIG and ACHIEVE EVEN BIGGER. It's not what you know but who you know. With this in mind, we utilize our expansive network to connect young men with dedicated professionals who help mentor our young men as they chase their dreams

KEEPING IT 💯 WHEN PREPARING FOR LIFE-LONG SUCCESS
OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM
Let's face the facts: If our young men do not prepare for college and career options early, their chances of rising economically are vastly decreased.
We believe the solution to this problem is simple: To educate our young men on the realities of life. Whether the topic is financial management, how to properly change a car tire or dealing with the pressures of growing up, we utilize a peer-focused support structure to speak to the realities of life and find a collective strategy to conquer any problem they may encounter.
Life is as easy as you make it. It becomes MUCH easier when you develop life skills that are transferrable to all scenarios you may encounter during your journey. MOTG is constantly working with community partners and stakeholders who share our passion of sharpening brilliant young minds to become the best version of themselves.
